The Hampton University Business School has chosen to uphold a ban on it’s male student’s wearing cornrows or dreadlocks. The school Dean, Sid Creadle, believes the ban that has been in effect for the last eleven years has helped the school place 99% of their students who have graduated into jobs.
Granted that none of the schools at the Hampton University have a similar dress code requirement, should institutions of higher learning have a requirement on how one chooses to wear their natural hair?
