One of the best recipes I ever came across online is the simple, glycerine spray. This styling or moisturising spray just serves to moisturise the hair, especially while styling or during the day when your hair just needs some water.
The only ingredients and glycerin and water, with a few drops of essential oil. I use spring water as it has less calcium that tap water or the purified tap water sold by most bottling companies.

I did a Google search and came across this video for the spray. I followed this video exactly and the result is what you see in the picture above. I use it when I am braiding or twisting my own hair in order to keep it damp, but not necessarily wet. It works wonders. I bought the bottle in the gardening section at the supermarket.
