This hairstyle didn’t come out the way I expected and I have two theories why.

1. The twists were very small, this made the hair very tightly curled and it looked like some kind of weird in between curly style.

2. My hair was too long for such small twists.

I think that very small twists work for shorter hair – the twist-out looks like a cute afro. My hair was reaching to just below my ears. Small twists/twist-out would also look better on much longer hair too as it is a long wavy/curly style. I think that my length of hair would  have suited a twist out from slightly thicker twists.

Definitely to be revisited soon.
