I decided to go natural back in 2000/2001
What has been your experience having natural hair so far?
I honestly wish that I would have remained natural all my life. Getting re-acclimated with my kinks was a little tricky at first, but once I knew what my hair needed, I was having fun and enjoying my hair. Right now I am focused on health and not length.

- Seal the oil in with a water based hair cream
- Base scalp lighly with oil of choice lightly
Weekly

- Shampoo (once a week)
- Deep Condition (Alternate moisture and protein)
- Co-wash (once a week)
- Moisturize and seal using the L.O.C. Method as usual
- Roller-set
Monthly
- Hot Oil Treatment
- Clarifying Shampoo
- Protein Conditioner
- Moisture Conditioner
- Moisturize and seal using the L.O.C. method (look out for more on the LOC method next week)

This look was created with flexi-rods I found at DisChem (a South African Pharmacy store). I washed, deep conditioned and moisturized my hair before setting the hair in the flexi-rods
