While looking for pictures for a piece on the duku, I came across many pictures of one of my favourite authors, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. There is a style that I love to use to wrap my hair, which I affectionately call ‘The Chimamanda’.

Anyway, that is for another day. What interested me, was that among the many pictures of her with various head wraps, were many of her with braided hair and then, lo and behold, with what appeared to me to be natural hair. I zoomed in for a closer look and widended my search. Sure enough, at least from the recent pictures that I was able to see, Ms Adichie is a naturalista. Yay!
